I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words

I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words
Dr. Suess, by Michael Frith

Summary:
This is a funny, rhyming tale of how a pet owner thinks about teaching his dog 100 words.

My opinion:

This book is very entertaining. If you have a younger sibling, you should read this to them. You can teach young readers lots of new words with this book. My favorite part is the last page where the dog's owner says, "I think I'll start next year," and the dog looks relieved.

5 stars (out of 5)

  1. After reading this book, do you think you could help me teach my dog 100 words? I don't think he knows that many words -- but he does know "sit," "stay," "paw," "down," and of course "NO." Have you read this book to Ashley? Is she learning lots of new words too? Your book review was way cool.

  2. Thanks, Aunt Kathy! I could help you teach your dog 100 words. I think Ashley knows 100 words, including ice cream. I read this book to Ashley.
